Objectives & Vision
To provide clean renewable solar energy to 1 crore homes, slash domestic power bills to zero, and empower families to sell surplus electricity to DISCOMs.
Direct Benefits for Eligible Beneficiaries
₹30,000 central subsidy for 1 kW rooftop solar capacity.
₹60,000 central subsidy for 2 kW systems.
Maximum ₹78,000 subsidy for 3 kW and higher systems.
Estimated annual electricity savings of ₹15,000 - ₹28,000.
Option to sell surplus energy back to the grid via Net Metering.
Eligibility Criteria & Requirements
- ✓Must be an Indian resident owning a suitable unshaded roof.
- ✓Must possess an active domestic electricity consumer connection.
- ✓Applicant must not have claimed central solar rooftop subsidies previously.

3Aadhaar card and PAN card.

Register by selecting State, DISCOM Name, and entering Consumer Account Number.

Login and fill the online application form specifying desired solar capacity.

Await technical feasibility approval from your local power distribution company.

Get installation done via registered empanelled solar vendors.

Apply for Net Meter installation. Following inspection, commissioning certificate will be issued.

Upload bank details on the portal to receive subsidy directly within 30 days.
